WorldPay Global Gateway Setup Guide

This guide will walk you through the process of getting set up to collect payments via the WorldPay Global Gateway gateway.

Notes:

It is highly recommended that you run at least one successful real money transaction through Spreedly before exposing it to your customers.
If you find any discrepancies between this document and the actual process, please let us know. We do not have ongoing access to the payment gateway backends and thus rely on our clients to help us keep these guides updated.

Prerequisites

Before adding a WorldPay gateway, you first need to log in to the WorldPay Merchant Interface and make sure the “Capture Delay” is turned off:

NOTE: If the capture delay is left on, WorldPay will auto-capture your transactions and Spreedly will not function correctly. Do not leave it on!

Once the Capture Delay is set, you will need to set an XML Password:

Configure Spreedly

Drill down into the payment gateways configuration:

Add a new gateway:

Select WorldPay Global Gateway from the list:

Select Gateway

Now fill in the two fields, using your WorldPay Global Gateway API credentials:

As a final step, select which payment methods to use with WorldPay Global Gateway:

You should now be all set to go. As mentioned above, we highly recommend you run at least one real money transaction before exposing Spreedly to your customers.
