Initially, Chargebee was focusing on limited geographies and therefore supporting a limited number of payment gateways. Justin Benson, CEO of Spreedly, reached out through a mutual acquaintance, and struck up a dialogue with Krish about opportunities & challenges in their market.
Soon after that Chargebee and Spreedly worked together to sign their first joint enterprise customer deal – Chargebee’s billing features and Spreedly’s payment gateway independence with credit card vault.

The partnership with Spreedly enabled Chargebee to deliver payment gateway independence to customers. This is critical with recurring billing in order to remove friction when storing and charging customers’ cards.
Chargebee is currently serving SaaS and Online Retail Subscription businesses. Chargebee is now expanding their footprint by building more integrations across accounting, helpdesk and CRM services.
